The first was commissioned by the Rachel Carson Institute to celebrate the 40th
anniversary of the book Silent Spring. The illustration was inspired by a quote from
Carson. The bottom of the poster is to look like the open pages of a book. The second
was part of a poster exhibition for AIGA’s “World Day of Design.” The theme for the
exhibition was “diversity.” The third was for The Hurricane Poster Project to benefit
victims of Hurricane Katrina. There seemed to be only two wheels turning in the mind
of our fearless leader that day. The last one is for Samuel Hazo’s International Poetry
Forum’s 40th anniversary. It’s lovingly letterpressed by Third Termite Press. various
